Join Cape Fear Chorale for a powerful and moving performance of Mass in Troubled Times on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Kenan Auditorium, UNCW. This stirring concert will feature Franz Joseph Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass and John Corigliano’s Fern Hill—two profound works that explore themes of faith, resilience, and hope.
Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, composed during a time of war and uncertainty, is one of his most dramatic and expressive choral masterpieces. Paired with Corigliano’s evocative setting of Dylan Thomas’s Fern Hill, this program promises a captivating musical journey through moments of reflection, intensity, and beauty.
