Jerry S. Cribbs Scholarship

If it weren’t for Jerry Cribbs, the Cape Fear Chorale (CFC) would not exist. From 1998 until 2022, Cribbs began and directed CFC for 24 years. Alongside hundreds of local musicians Cribbs helped CFC commit to building and enriching our community through exceptional choral artistry and create meaningful, educational, and inclusive musical experiences.

The Jerry S. Cribbs Scholarship honors the legacy that Jerry created and lives he’s impacted in our community. The scholarship is intended for any graduating senior from New Hanover, Pender, or Brunswick County who plans to pursue a college degree in choral music education and/or vocal performance.
